Armed Robbery
October 18, 2018
Crime Stoppers of Shelby County is assisting the Bethany Illinois Police Department in gathering information about an armed robbery that occurred at the Casey's General Store on October 18th 2018.
At about 7:45 p.m. on Thursday October 18th a unknown Male wearing a black Carhart coat and black hoodie pulled low over his face and a black mask entered the store, walked behind the counter and displayed a black handgun to the clerk.
The suspect opened the register by using the touch pad screen removed money from the register and left the store.

Armed Robbery
February 07, 2018
On Thursday, February 1, 2018 at approximately 8:50 p.m., a young white male suspect entered the C&C's One Stop formerly known as Joseph's Landing BP Gas Station located near the intersection of East Route 16 and the Clarksburg Road. The suspect brandished a dark colored semi-automatic hand gun. The suspect ordered the attendant to the floor, located and took an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was wearing blue gloves and a dark ski mast. the suspect was last seen fleeing the gas station on foot in a westerly direction.
